Before I begin, I would just like to say, because you are probably wondering why I don't just do one big Easter egg post, the reason is I don't want to start talking about Easter eggs that I didn't find and that I just saw on some other website.
First, I am just going to talk about some more evident Easter eggs. First of all, this scene in the movie greatly resembles this image on the cover of one of the issues of the original Civil War comic-book, which the movie is based off of.

Also Stan Lee had a cameo in the movie towards the end as the delivery man who called Tony Stark "Mr. Stank." There are obviously a lot more Easter eggs in the movie. I could go on and continue, but that is not the reason why I am doing this post. So let's get to it!
As we know the movie Captain America: Civil War is based off the comic-book sharing the same name as the movie (if you don't know what I'm talking about when I say the comic-book sharing the same name as the movie I am talking about the Civil War comic-book.) There were a few nods to the Civil War story like the one mentioned above. But what if the movie didn't get all its inspiration from that comic book? Let me explain.
So first of all, Captain America: Civil War is the 7th movie after The Avengers as you can see below.
First there's Iron Man 3, then Thor: The Dark World, next is Captain America: The Winter Soldier, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy, then Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man, and finally, Captain America: Civil War.
The Avengers 1 2 3

In the image on the right, you can see issue #7 of the original Avengers comics. In this issue, the Avengers are battling among themselves. Sounds familiar? To add on to the fact that both the movie and the comic-book have the Avengers fighting against each other and that Captain America: Civil War is the seventh movie after The Avengers, and that this is the seventh issue of The Avengers comic-book, they also have the same villain. No, Captain America: Civil War did not include Skurge (who will actually be in Thor: Ragnarök) and the Enchantress, but they both included Zemo who can be seen right below below Thor in the purple mask in the image on the side. However not all the characters from that issue were in the movie. Thor and Wasp were not in the movie nor were two of the villains mentioned earlier. But of course Captain America and Iron Man were in the movie and so was Giant-Man.
So, what do you think? The you think the movie was based on both Civil War and The Avengers #7? Or do you think that it was only based on Civil War and all of this is just a coincidence? Tell me in the comments by pressing the word "Coments" (obviously) and then you can write what you want (isn't that cool!) That's it! I might do an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. post soon, but the problem is there isn't really any new news so there is not much to talk about. But I will find stuff to talk about!
