In this post I will talk about all the new news surrounding Thor: Ragnarok. I will also talk about some theories and other stuff. So let's get to it because there is nothing else to tell you (well, I could talk about what I had for breakfast!)
Before reading this post you should probably go check my last post about Thor: Ragnarok right here.

Plot info
So recently a synopsis for the movie was released. It said that Thor is on a gladiator planet without his hammer. He is trying to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, but first he has to face off against the Hulk. (that's not exactly what it said). Anyway I won't talk much more about the plot now because I will talk a lot more about it later.
Characters
Doctor Strange has been confirmed to appear in the movie. Along with helping Thor find Odin, he might also use his time powers to see what happened when Loki took over Asgard.
The Defenders and Silver Surfer to appear in Thor: Ragnarok? (kind of)
So, if you read the title you are probably wondering how the Defenders will appear in Thor: Ragnarok. Well, in case you are not aware, the Defenders is an upcoming show on Netflix featuring the characters Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. However those are not the Defenders I am talking about. In the comics there was a group named the Defenders. Some of its members were Hulk, Doctor Strange, Valkyrie, Silver Surfer, just to name a few. The thing is, almost all those characters being Hulk, Doctor Strange, and Valkyrie (a Asgardian warrior, incase you don't know who she is.) all appear in Thor Ragnarok. So there is a good chance we might see the Defenders in Thor: Ragnarok. In the image you can see Hulk all the way to the left, Valkyrie all the way to the right, who is right to Doctor Strange.
But what about Thor? All the heroes in the movie are Defenders except him, will he be part of the Defenders? Well, there is a reason why I listed the Silver Surfer before as a member of the Defenders. Recently, a synopsis was released for Thor: Ragnarok, which I talked about earlier, which said that Thor would have to face of against Hulk in a gladiator match. As we know, the movie is partially based off the Planet Hulk storyline. In the comics, Hulk had to face off against his friend, the Silver Surfer in a gladiator match. Since Marvel is not allowed to use the Silver Surfer, it seems as though Marvel is switching Silver Surfer for Thor in a way and making Hulk fight Thor instead. In the comics Hulk ends up beating the Silver Surfer, but they end up teaming up in the end with the other gladiators to take over and get rid of the king. In this movie, the ones responsible for the gladiator matches are the Grandmaster (who I will talk about later) and Loki. So Thor could join the Defenders and just replace Silver Surfer.
In addition, having the Defenders show up in the movies (with a different name of course because you can't have two different groups named the Defenders) could be useful if Marvel didn't want to make another Thor solo movie because they could just make a Defenders movie instead.

Another Theory for who has the Soul Stone (and no, it's not Heimdall)
So, first of all, I say "another" because I already did a theory on where it could be in the past. If you haven't already read it, or if you forgot it, go check it out, now! It is the post I put a link to at the beginning of this post.
While I wait for you to finish reading, I'll just talk about how I haven't done a post in a while. I was on break, but now I'm back! I might not do all of those posts I said I would do in my previous post. I won't do a trailer breakdown for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer or the Spider-Man Homecoming trailer because we should be getting new ones during the Super Bowl.

Anyway, in my original theory, I said Hela, the villain of the movie, has the Soul Stone, which goes with her powers to control who lives and dies (you should know this because you went to go read my previous post right?).
Before I get to my theory, I would just like to say why I don't think Heimdall has the soul stone, unlike what many other people think. Firstly, look at the image of the Infinity Gauntlet. The soul stone is the big one in the middle. Now look at the thing on Heimdall's chest that everyone thinks is the soul stone. The one that Thanos has is bigger than the one on his chest and the one on Heimdall's chest does not glow like the others. Also Heimdall's powers are not very...soul-y (yes, I know it's not a word). He has the power to see and hear across the universe which I don't see how that relates to the soul stone.

Anyway my theory is that the Grandmaster, one of the villains of the movie, has the soul stone. The Grandmaster is someone who likes to take superheroes and make them fight each other, which is why he has Thor and Hulk face off against each other. I think he has the stone because in the comics, he actually had an Infinity Stone which he ends up losing. Can you guess who took it from him? Thanos of course! In addition, he has similar abbilities to Hela so it would make sense for him to have the stone. They might actually both have it. One could give it to the other, or they could both be powered from it. It also makes sense that he has the biggest stone since he has the ability to change size and can often appear much bigger than some of the other characters like Hulk, who is usually one of the biggest ones. Finally, as you can see in the picture he has a yellow gem-looking thing on his chest, which kind of looks like the soul stone.
That's it!
